ABOUT US
Ted McHugh, owner and operator of McHugh Builders is a lifelong and current resident of Brigantine. His journey in construction began by working for his father’s flooring company at a young age. Ted worked in construction through his early 20's before attending Temple University where he attained a B.S. in Engineering Technology.
With a focus in construction management, Ted went on to work for a major mechanical contractor outside of Philadelphia. Over his 10 years with the company, Ted became senior project manager while working in such facilities as the University of Pennsylvania, CHOP, and Villanova University.
With his passion for residential building construction, Ted started McHugh Builders in 2019. McHugh Builders has since grown to be a custom home builder in the South Jersey region.
Ted resides in Brigantine with his wife Natalia, children Myla and Teddy and their two dogs Mickey and Bear.

Ted is available 24/7 and will guide you through the entire construction process, answering any and all questions along the way.
